🗺️ Meridian: Large Intestine Meridian

🇨🇳 Chinese: 合谷 (hé gǔ)

🎯 Location: On the dorsum of the hand between 1st & 2nd metacarpal bones approximately in the middle of the 2nd metacarpal bone on the radial side.

⚠️ Cautions: Traditionally forbidden in pregnancy – these are the points used to bring on labour at term. Controlled data show no excess of preterm birth or stillbirth (Carr 2015), but in pregnancy needle only on a clear obstetric indication.

🛡️ Treats: Fever, Tinnitus, Release Exterior, Absent Periods, Wind

🗺️ Meridian: Small Intestine Meridian

🇨🇳 Chinese: 少澤 (shǎo zé)

🎯 Location: On the ulnar side of the little finger about 01 thumb width from corner of the nail.

⚠️ Cautions: Avoid in patients with bleeding disorders.

🛡️ Treats: Cough, Chest Pain, Fever, Dizziness, Tinnitus

🗺️ Meridian: Pericardium Meridian

🇨🇳 Chinese: 勞宮 (láo gōng)

🎯 Location: At the center of the palm between 2nd and 3rd metacarpal bones but closer to the latter and in the part touching tip of the middle finger when fist is made.

⚠️ Cautions: Avoid in patients with bleeding disorders.

🛡️ Treats: Cough, Chest Pain, Fever, Jaundice, Depression

🗺️ Meridian: Triple Burner Meridian

🇨🇳 Chinese: 外關 (wài guān)

🎯 Location: 2 thumb widths proximal to the dorsal crease of the wrist on the line connecting tb4 and tip of the olecranon the between radius and ulna.

⚠️ Cautions: No specific contraindications.

🛡️ Treats: Fever, Sweating, Kidney Deficiency, Dizziness, Tinnitus

🗺️ Meridian: Gallbladder Meridian

🇨🇳 Chinese: 足臨泣 (zú lín qì)

🎯 Location: Posterior to the 4th metatarsophalangeal joint in the depression the lateral to the tendon of the extensor digiti minimi of the foot.

⚠️ Cautions: No specific contraindications.

🛡️ Treats: Fever, Phlegm, Sweating, Kidney Deficiency, Dizziness

🗺️ Meridian: Conception Vessel

🇨🇳 Chinese: 廉泉 (lián quán)

🎯 Location: Above adam's apple in the depression of the upper border of the hyoid bone.

⚠️ Cautions: Caution with hyoid bone.

🛡️ Treats: Cough, Chest Pain, Shortness of Breath, Saliva Excessive, Dry Mouth

🗺️ Meridian: Governing Vessel

🇨🇳 Chinese: 兌端 (duì duān)

🎯 Location: On the labial tubercle of the upper lip on the vermilion the border between philtrum and upper lip.

⚠️ Cautions: No specific contraindications.

🛡️ Treats: Heat, Depression, Epilepsy, Nasal Congestion, Tongue Dry

🗺️ Meridian: Extra Points: Head

🇨🇳 Chinese: 金津 (jīn jīn)

🎯 Location: In the mouth, on the vein the in the left side of the frenulum of the tongue.

⚠️ Cautions: Caution with sublingual vessels.

🛡️ Treats: Diarrhea, Heat, Vomiting, Swelling, Pain

🗺️ Meridian: Extra Points: Head

🇨🇳 Chinese: 玉液 (yù yè)

🎯 Location: In the mouth, on the vein the in the right side of the frenulum of the tongue.

⚠️ Cautions: Caution with sublingual vessels.

🛡️ Treats: Diarrhea, Heat, Vomiting, Swelling, Pain

🗺️ Meridian: Extra Points: Head

🇨🇳 Chinese: 牽正 (qiān zhèng)

🎯 Location: On the cheek, 0.5 thumb widths anterior to the earlap, the same levelas the midpoint of the earlap.

⚠️ Cautions: No specific contraindications.

🛡️ Treats: Heat, Wind, Mouth Ulcers, Paralysis, Ulceration Tongue
