🗺️ Meridian: Lung Meridian

🇨🇳 Chinese: 中府 (zhōng fǔ)

🎯 Location: Laterosuperior to the sternum 1 thumb width below LU02 at the level of the 1st intercostal space 6 thumb widths lateral to the anterior midline.

⚠️ Cautions: Needle obliquely or laterally, never deeply or medially – risk of pneumothorax.

🛡️ Treats: Heat Chest, Cough, Chest Pain, Fever, Shortness of Breath

🗺️ Meridian: Lung Meridian

🇨🇳 Chinese: 俠白 (xiá bái)

🎯 Location: On the medial aspect of the upper arm 4 thumb widths below anterior end of the axillary fold or 5 thumb widths above the cubital crease on the radial side of the biceps brachii.

⚠️ Cautions: Caution with depth to avoid damaging blood vessels.

🛡️ Treats: Cough, Shortness of Breath, Asthma, Palpitations, Retching

🗺️ Meridian: Stomach Meridian

🇨🇳 Chinese: 天樞 (tiān shū)

🎯 Location: 2 thumb widths lateral to the center of the umbilicus.

⚠️ Cautions: Acute appendicitis is a surgical emergency – treatment here is adjunctive at most and must never delay surgical assessment. Avoid needling over the gravid uterus after the first trimester; where used in pregnancy, needle shallowly and only on a clear obstetric indication.

🛡️ Treats: Poor Appetite, Diarrhea, Constipation, Vomiting, Abdominal Bloating

🗺️ Meridian: Heart Meridian

🇨🇳 Chinese: 極泉 (jí quán)

🎯 Location: When upper arm is abducted point is in the center of the axilla on the medial side of the axillary artery.

⚠️ Cautions: Contraindicated for needling; proximity to axillary artery.

🛡️ Treats: Chest Pain, Anxiety, Palpitations, Elbow Pain, Retching

🗺️ Meridian: Heart Meridian

🇨🇳 Chinese: 靈道 (líng dào)

🎯 Location: When palm faces upward point is on the radial side of the tendon of the flexor carpi ulnaris, 1.5 thumb widths above the transverse crease of the wrist.

⚠️ Cautions: No specific contraindications.

🛡️ Treats: Anxiety, Swelling, Finger Pain, Retching, Heart Pain

🗺️ Meridian: Kidney Meridian

🇨🇳 Chinese: 石關 (shí guān)

🎯 Location: 3 thumb widths above the umbilicus 0.5 thumb widths lateral to the CV11.

⚠️ Cautions: Caution in pregnancy.

🛡️ Treats: Constipation, Vomiting, Blood Stagnation, Pain, Hiccups

🗺️ Meridian: Kidney Meridian

🇨🇳 Chinese: 幽門 (yōu mén)

🎯 Location: 6 thumb widths above the umbilicus 0.5 thumb widths lateral to the CV14.

⚠️ Cautions: Avoid needling over the gravid uterus after the first trimester; where used in pregnancy, needle shallowly and only on a clear obstetric indication.

🛡️ Treats: Cough, Chest Pain, Diarrhea, Coughing Blood, Vomiting

🗺️ Meridian: Pericardium Meridian

🇨🇳 Chinese: 間使 (jiān shǐ)

🎯 Location: 3 thumb widths above the transverse crease of the wrist between tendons of the palmaris longus and flexor carpi radialis.

⚠️ Cautions: No specific contraindications.

🛡️ Treats: Phlegm, Palpitations, Vomiting, Abdominal Pain, Aversion Cold
