🗺️ Meridian: Lung Meridian

🇨🇳 Chinese: 列缺 (liè quē)

🎯 Location: Superior to the styloid process of the radius 1.5 thumb widths above the transverse crease of the wrist between brachioradialis and tendon of the abductor policis longus.

⚠️ Cautions: Use with caution in patients with radial nerve sensitivity.

🛡️ Treats: Heat Chest, Cough, Fever, Shortness of Breath, Phlegm

🗺️ Meridian: Large Intestine Meridian

🇨🇳 Chinese: 合谷 (hé gǔ)

🎯 Location: On the dorsum of the hand between 1st & 2nd metacarpal bones approximately in the middle of the 2nd metacarpal bone on the radial side.

⚠️ Cautions: Traditionally forbidden in pregnancy – these are the points used to bring on labour at term. Controlled data show no excess of preterm birth or stillbirth (Carr 2015), but in pregnancy needle only on a clear obstetric indication.

🇨🇳 Chinese: 迎香 (yíng xiāng)

🎯 Location: In the nasolabial groove at the level of the midpoint of the lateral border of the ala nasi.

⚠️ Cautions: Avoid deep needling; proximity to facial artery.

🛡️ Treats: Shortness of Breath, Constipation, Heat, Wind, Numbness

🗺️ Meridian: Extra Points: Head

🇨🇳 Chinese: 印堂 (yìn táng)

🎯 Location: At the glabella, at the midpoint between the medial extremities of the eyebrows.

🛡️ Treats: Anxiety, Dizziness, Wind, Facial Pain, Insomnia

🇨🇳 Chinese: 鼻通 / 上迎香 (bí tōng / shàng yíng xiāng)

🎯 Location: At the highest point of the naso-labial groove.

⚠️ Cautions: Caution with facial nerve.

🎯 Location: On the line connecting asis and lateral border of the patella 6 thumb widths above the laterosuperior border of the patella.

🇨🇳 Chinese: 浮郄 (fú xì)

🎯 Location: 1 thumb width above the BL39 on the medial side of the tendon of the biceps femoris; point is located with knee slightly flexed.

🎯 Location: On the level of the 4th posterior sacral foramen 3 thumb widths lateral to the median sacral crest.

🎯 Location: 3 thumb widths above the GB34 lateral to the knee joint in the depression above the external epicondyle of the femur.

⚠️ Cautions: Avoid in acute knee injury.

🛡️ Treats: Numbness, Redness, Swelling, Qi Leg, Disease Knee

🎯 Location: Posterior and inferior to the medial condyle of the tibia in the upper portion of the medial head of the gastrocnemius 1 thumb width posterior to the SP09.
