Location
With the patient supine and the arm abducted 30°, at the end of the main anterior axillary skin crease that runs parallel to the trunk, in the pectoralis major.
Cautions
Do not needle deeply or medially towards the chest wall – risk of pneumothorax. The brachial plexus and the axillary artery and vein lie deep to the point.
