Scalp Lines

Standard scalp acupuncture lines (MS1-MS14) from the WHO Standard Acupuncture Nomenclature. Each is a line over a cortical projection area rather than a point on a channel, and is needled along its length.

🎯 Location: On the forehead, running down the anterior midline from GV24 Shenting.

🇨🇳 Chinese: 額旁1線 (é páng yī xiàn)

🎯 Location: On the forehead, the first line lateral to the anterior midline, running downward from BL03 Meichong.

🎯 Location: On the forehead, the second line lateral to the anterior midline, running downward from GB15 Toulinqi.

🎯 Location: On the forehead, the third and most lateral of the forehead lines.

🎯 Location: From GV20 Baihui to GV21 Qianding, along the midline of the vertex.

🎯 Location: From Qianshencong (1 cun anterior to GV20) obliquely to GB06 Xuanli, crossing the bladder and gallbladder meridians.
