# XB07 Yaoyan (Waist Eyes) – Extra Points: Back

腰眼 · yāo yǎn

Location: In the depression the approximately 3.5 thumb widths lateral to the lower border of the l4 (yaoyangguan du-3) lumbar eyes refers to the visible hollows found in the many people, just over one handbreadth either side of the spine, below the level of the iliac crest.
